TXON GRP® was asked to support the replacement of a failing utility manhole that once sat on the shoulder; through highway widening the access hole now was in the middle of the curb lane. The manhole had sunk causing a concern for a driver hazard. The manhole was repaired and the area around the hole was removed. In less than 4 hours, the new roadbed had been cast. The following afternoon, the road was opened for service. TXON GRP® supplied the rebar grid; MEDA provided the engineering analysis, testing of compressive strength and provided full reports to the stakeholders.
